Throughout her life, Queen Victoria filled more than 100 volumes of journals and historians reckon she wrote upwards of 2,000 words per day!

The Queen's love of the written word sounds like perfect inspiration for a quiet, relaxing stay with us. Whether you're next to the fireplace reading a book or taking time to do some writing of your own, we'd love to have you join us at the Castle.

Queen Victoria is a first-floor room located just steps away from the Great Hall. It has a private bathroom, queen bed, fireplace, and outdoor deck. A complimentary breakfast is included every morning for all guests!

There are few things better than arriving at the Castle, pouring a glass of w**e, and realizing there is nowhere you need to be.

Add a W**e & Cheese Package to your stay and check in to find a bottle of red or white w**e, cheese plate, and two souvenir Ravenwood Castle w**e glasses waiting in your room!

For our non-alcoholic guests, you can substitute a bottle of w**e for six craft sodas, just be sure to add a note when making your reservation.

And if you're looking to make the stay *extra* sweet, we recommend giving our Castle Truffles a try! Come stay with at the Castle and see why guests come back again and again. ❤️

Looking for a fun way to explore during your next stay at the Castle?

Pick up a Vinton County Discovery Trail card at the front desk (while supplies last) and set out to discover some incredible stops throughout the county! Trail cards are also available at the Discover Vinton County office and participating businesses.

Get a sticker from at least 6 participating locations to earn a complimentary handmade souvenir, redeemable at The Moonville Market. It's a great way to shop small and meet local business owners! Here are just a few of the places you could choose to visit:

➜ Have a glass of w**e at Le Petit Chevalier Vineyards and Farm W**ery and enjoy the amazing views
➜ Grab lunch at Mullin's Pizza
➜ Make your own candle at VC Farm & Floral
➜ Grab a new game at Rolling Hills Collectibles

While we aren't one of the official trail stops, we're excited to help guests get started on their next adventure! 🏰 🚗
