Annapolis B&Bs in March

Maryland’s State Capital provides guests staying in our Annapolis B&Bs plenty of things to do. Whether its shopping, dining, or visiting historic landmarks, America’s Sailing Capital will not disappoint. Flag House Inn, Two-O-One Bed and Breakfast, and Georgian House Bed and Breakfast are all historic themselves and uniquely Annapolitan.

Main St. and the Annapolis City Dock hosts great shopping and dining. Visit the United States Naval Academy or the newly remodeled historic State House. The State House is the oldest state capitol building in continuous legislative use and also the largest free standing wooden dome in the country. George Washington resigned his commission there before the Continental Congress in 1783. The new remodeling of the State House, now allows visitors to stand in the same room where Washington made this famous resignation speech!

There are plenty of events and activities for guests staying in Annapolis during the month of March. The inaugural Annapolis Irish week runs from March 7th-17th, and features great events, activities, and contests. Highlighted by the Annapolis St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 8th, the week also includes a best irish coffee contest, free guinness glass engravings, and live Irish music all over town. Visit the Irish Week website for more information.

Celebrate Maryland Day in Annapolis from March 20th-22nd. There are plenty of fun and interesting activities all over town and the surrounding areas. Including exclusive tours of Annapolis’s museums and the newly remodeled State House. Visit the Maryland Day Website for a full list of the activities and more information. The State Capital will also be hosting the Annapolis Film Festival with over 70 films from March 26th-29th. Visit the Annapolis Film Festival website for more information.

The Bed & Breakfast Association of Virginia Board, Members and Staff want to invite you to join us next month at our annual conference. Any state association member is welcome to attend at our member price, but any B&B from any surround state is encouraged to attend. We do have two sessions that are…
