It’s been 25 years since September 11, 2001. A quarter of a century. Never forget the way we united not only as a city but as a country when the Towers fell. Never forget the way friends and strangers alike came to each other’s aid regardless of color or creed. Never forget the first responders and civilians who lost their lives in this profound, collective human tragedy. It’s been 25 years, but for many the weight of this moment is still present every day. We will always remember.
