TRAVEL CONFESSION #002 ✈️

“I traveled alone for the first time.”

Honestly, natakot ako.

I kept thinking, “Paano kung maligaw ako?”
“Paano kung walang kumausap sa akin?”
“Paano kung ma-bored lang ako?”

But I went anyway.

I ate alone.
Walked alone.
Got lost once. 😂
And took my own photos because there was no one else to ask.

At first, ang awkward.

But somewhere along the trip, I started enjoying my own company.

I realized that being alone doesn't always mean being lonely.

Sometimes, you just need to go somewhere unfamiliar to discover a version of yourself you've never met before.

“I booked the trip after my breakup.”

I booked the ticket at 2 AM.

No long itinerary. No detailed plan. I just knew I needed to leave for a while.

Hindi para takasan siya.
Hindi rin para maghanap ng iba.

I just needed to remember who I was outside of that relationship.

And somewhere between getting lost, trying new food, and watching a sunset alone...

I realized that maybe moving on doesn't always start with forgetting someone.

Sometimes, it starts with finding yourself again.
