400 backpacks. 400 students. One incredible day of giving back.�
Just weeks before school begins, 400 students from Pre-K through 6th grade at our off-site locations received brand-new backpacks filled with school supplies to help them start the year ready to learn and succeed. Students were thrilled to choose a backpack that matched their personalities

This would not have been possible without the generous support of Bloomberg Philanthropies, their dedicated volunteers, and our board members, who gave their time on a scorching New York City day to make this special day happen.

At Family Fridays, the littlest Y kids in our West Side YMCA Early Childhood program enjoy crafts, movies, and more with their moms, dads, and grandparents! It provides a wonderful opportunity for family members to experience firsthand the strong community cultivated in our comprehensive program ☺️
