Please help out Brother Bystricky and the Bystricky family as he and Ashley are on the road to recovery.

The best news arrived recently for Ashley and her family!
A match for kidney donation has been found-her husband Dan !!!
While this is an exciting turn of events, a new level of help will be necessary as Ashley and Dan will both be hospitalized.
Dan’s stay is expected to be much shorter, but he will required rest and some support as Ashley spends an extended stay at a hospital in Pennsylvania.
Both Ashley and Dan’s moms will be assisting with childcare at the family’s home and the dinners will ensure an easier time.
A cooler will be by the front door for simple drop offs and to avoid the family dogs slipping out the front door.

At this week’s May meeting, our two newest members - Brother McGonigal and Sister Finnan - were officially sworn in as members of FOP Lodge 4. Please congratulate them on their recent graduation from the NCCPD Academy and welcome them to the family!

Last night, Lodge 4 held its annual Retiree Dinner where Brothers Pagnotti and Rivers were honored for their years of service to the City of Newark. Always a great time seeing all of our retirees and a big thank you to Grain Exchange for hosting!

Today, we recognize National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day and proudly highlight Cpl. Nate Graber for his outstanding service to our school community.

Cpl. Graber serves not only as a protector but also as a mentor and guardian to students in Newark. He builds positive relationships, offers guidance during difficult moments, and provides a steady, trusted presence in our schools every single day.

DE Concerns of Police Survivors will have their annual Blue Light Vigil on December 07, 2025 at 1900 hours at Delaware Heritage Park, on the Green, Dover, Delaware. The ceremony will include a roll call of officers and the placement of ornaments by families and attending law enforcement officers.
