A new week and day are ahead across the state, and our weather will change some as well. Happy Monday, North Carolina! We will see partly sunny skies today. A couple of isolated showers can't be ruled out across the SW part of the state, but otherwise, a quiet start to the day is expected. This afternoon and evening, we will see some scattered showers and thunderstorms develop especially west and a couple of isolated ones around Central and Eastern sections of the state. Highs today will be in the 80s and 90s for most, but a backdoor front across NE NC will keep temps in the 80s and 70s as well as in the SW sections of the state.

I'll pass along some radar updates like normal.

What’s your favorite lazy campground meal? 😋🍽️

“What’s your go-to lazy campground meal?”
This was a question we recently asked, and over 400 campers chimed in…

Some required zero cooking. Some came straight from the cooler. And a few weren't really meals at all. 😅

The top 3:
🥇 Hot dogs over the campfire. Not even close.
🥈 Cheese, crackers, and snack boards. No cooking, no cleanup.
🥉 Foil packet hobo dinners. Everything wrapped in foil over the coals.

Those were the top 3, but the full list of 14 gets even better. Includes the easiest no-cook option, a meal almost everyone has made at least once, and one answer that technically isn't even food.
