Day #2 of the Newport Charter Show was a standout, with gorgeous weather and impressive crew competitions—from tablescaping artistry to signature cocktails sponsored by Goslings Rum, plus a refreshing mocktail challenge. Huge thanks to USA Yacht Services for treating everyone to an afternoon ice cream social. Winners will be revealed Thursday at our Closing Party & Crew Competition Awards Celebration. A strong opening day at the Newport Charter Show delivered plenty of energy — from the coveted Chef Competition, sponsored by NationalMarine Suppliers, where six talented charter‑yacht chefs showcased their skills for this year’s family‑style theme, which inspired some standout dishes, and the winner will be revealed Thursday evening during the Closing Party & Crew Competition Awards.

The day wrapped with our lively captain & deck challenge, featuring the timed fender‑inflating contest sponsored by AERE Docking Solutions and a creative flower‑arranging showdown sponsored by Young Floral Design. Big thanks to the The U.S. Superyacht Association for providing food from Wally’s Wieners food truck.

The 2026 Newport Charter Yacht Show starts tomorrow at Safe Harbor Newport Shipyard! We are excited to welcome charter yachts, brokers, sponsors and vendors to this year’s show! Yachts and vendors will complete load-in tomorrow and we will kick off the show with a Chef Competition ingredients selection at Noon in the main show tent sponsored by NationalMarine Suppliers followed by a Crew Competition meeting at 5pm and a Captain & Crew Briefing and Welcome Party (all show attendees are welcome to attend) at 5:30pm sponsored by AkzoNobel Yotspot and Bridge Liquors!
