Our dear friend Kevin was truly the beating heart of our camp family — the life of every gathering, the ultimate host, and a bright light to everyone.
If you ever spent a weekend at camp, you knew where to find the best energy and the warmest welcome.
He had a rare gift for making everyone feel like a lifelong friend from the moment they arrived into his life. With an open heart and a ready smile, he brought people together effortlessly, turning ordinary weekends into unforgettable memories filled with laughter, stories, and genuine connection.
Cooking was his love language, and the campsite was his summer domain. Whether tending to a morning feast or preparing a late-night meal to share around the fire, he poured love into every dish.
Beyond the joyful energy was a person of kindness and generosity. He cared deeply for His camp family, always ready with a helping hand, a listening ear, or an extra chair at the table. Kevins big heart was matched only by his endless loving spirit.
While the campground will feel a little quieter without his laughter ringing through the trees, his warmth will remain in every shared memory, every story retold around the fire, and every lesson in how to love people well.
He has left our camp family forever changed .
Rest in peace, dear friend—you will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and loved always.
