We definitely get to see some pretty cool things here, but every once in a while, you walk out your front door and something just takes your breath away.

Had some excellent guests this past week. I've only got this picture of one of them. Thanks, Seth and Shannon for coming to hang out with Kathey and I for a few days. We caught many fish, but this one was the prettiest one and the only one we got a picture of.

Caught two beauties off the boat ramp yesterday. First one, yesterday morning that was 16 to 17 inches and didn't have my phone with me for pictures. The second one yesterday evening about 6:30 was finally the one I've been waiting for for years now. Just a hair over 24 inches.  My friend brought me here for the first time when I was 15 years old and I've been in love with it ever since. He also hooked me up with the White River Zig Jigs that have caught me almost every fish the last 12 years or so out here. I miss you, buddy. This one's for you.

I'm a large advocate of our local places and I have to say the food wagon in the old Little B's parking lot in Norfork is a nice little addition. We just tried their double cheeseburger today and surprisingly it came with hand cut french fries. Also, had the nacho supreme again, and it was pretty awesome and everything affordable.
Also, the lazy enchilada that has moved into the old Little B’s building is also pretty good and really liked their breakfast last weekend.
Just some additions to our already awesome places like PJs , Whispering Woods, and Heidi’s Ugly Cakes along with the Norfork Cafe. Now, when you come to stay with us, you have a variety to choose from with varying hours.
