Donald (Don) Michael Stressler passed away on August 14th 2025 at the VA hospital in Madison Wisconsin at the age of 66 after bravely facing complications from cancer. He was born May 29th, 1959 in Evanston Illinois.
Don was son of Darlene who survives him, and the late Donald P. Stressler. Preceded in death by wife Christine. Survivors include sons Paul (Emma) and Donald. Sisters Debra (Ralph), Denise (Matt), brothers Daniel (Anne), and late Dave (Julie), also many beloved nieces and nephews.
Don’s life was marked by hard work, a passion for the outdoors and a knack for fixing anything with wheels or an engine. After graduating high school Don answered the call to serve his country, proudly joining the army and being stationed in Germany. Returning home he found his calling as a skilled marine mechanic and rehabbing homes. He loved his family and always was available to help whoever was in need.
All are invited to attend a celebration of life, held August 31, 2025 between 1-3 pm at Tuckaway campground. Food privided please bring beverage and a chair. Picnic tables will be available. E9648 Tuckaway Drive, North Freedom, WI 53951
