This place is so awesome! It brings back so many memories of my teenage years playing these pinball games! The best part is that it is less than 10 minutes from the guesthouse!

$23 entry for all day admission with over 640+ arcade and pinball machines on free play. We are also a 27,000 square foot pop culture museum with floor to ceiling collectibles, movie memorabilia and the World's Largest Lunch Box Collection.

A lot of history in this area! This plaque is about 3 miles or so from the guesthouse. Just over the overpass and to the west is a sign to get there.

Cutest place for a sweet treat! Minutes from the guesthouse!

Just across the street from the infamous Helvetia Tavern, a short driveway leads to one of Helvetia’s most enchanting little stops— Station!
Stop in for a cup of coffee, homemade baked goods, cookies, pies, a little neighborhood gossip—and perhaps the only One-Dog Petting Zoo this side of the Mississippi! 🐶☕🥧
Bring the kids, pull up a chair, and sit a spell. It’s the kind of place that reminds you why small, local gathering spots are so special.
And be sure to say “Howdy!” to Victoria!

Have you ever taken the North Plains exit?

Just a short turn off Highway 26, between Portland and the Oregon Coast, is a small community that’s worth slowing down for.

Spend a few hours exploring North Plains and the surrounding countryside. Grab a bite at a local restaurant or food cart, browse a vintage or secondhand shop, visit a farm market, stop by a nearby winery, or make a fall trip to one of the area’s pumpkin patches.

You’ll find open farmland, local businesses, friendly people and a little bit of country life—all surprisingly close to Portland.

So the next time you’re heading down Highway 26—or just looking for something different to do on a weekend—take the North Plains exit and see what you discover.

What a wonderful place to visit and ride horses about 20 minutes from the guesthouse! It’s a beautiful peaceful place and horses! Can’t get better than that!
