This was such a fun surprise. I was walking through Manhattan's Upper East Side when I happened to glance into a residential lobby and recognized one of my own projects from years ago!

I asked the doorman if I could take a quick peek inside, and he warmly welcomed me in. Sure enough, it was a lobby I had worked on years ago with interior designer Jonathan Baron.

For this project, we created four cabinet inserts in my Square Squared pattern. Jonathan mounted them in front of mirrors, creating an effect I hadn't seen before. The reflections add sparkle, depth, and movement in a way that's especially magical during a New York winter, bringing a bit of light and energy into an already elegant space.

What I find so fascinating is how designers interpret my patterns in ways I never would have imagined. Every installation offers a fresh perspective. Mounting the panels in front of mirrors was such a simple yet creative idea, and it's a reminder that some of the best design comes from looking at familiar materials through a different lens.
