Did your life changed when you became a Christian?
I met a young man at Son'Spot in OC MD last week.
Two of the volunteers at the soup kitchen were sharing
their faith with a student from Romania named Veljko.
They had been talking to him through out the summer about
Jesus. They ask him if he wanted to recieve Jesus into his heart.
He said he was not sure if he was ready to receive Jesus,
He believed that he is the son of God but was not sure if he raised from the dead. I said to him that I was glad he was being honest.
I told him what the apostle Paul said in Romans 10:9-10 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. If a person confesses and believes that they are saved. I think there are a lot
of people who repeated a sinners prayer and confessed with their moth but did not believe in their heart and their lives never changed. Like the young man I met on the board walk who told me he was a born again Christian but his life never changed. He is the according to him he is a sexual beast who devourers women. If you have been told to repeat a sinner prayer with someone and after doing so your life never changed. I am not judging, but the apostle Paul said in 1 Cor 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! Has your life changed? Do you have a new life?
