Our hotel is seeing increased demand and we are looking to quickly hire housekeepers. We are flexible to work with your schedule. We are open to consider for both Full Time/Part Time roles. Will provide training for the right candidate.

Below is a high-level listing of job duties
•Answer immediately to requests from guests, as well as from other departments
•Load cart with proper supplies, move it to the required area
•Enter guest rooms by adhering to proper procedures and ensure they are vacant
•Replace used amenities in guest rooms
•Provide clean linens and towels for stayover service
•Fold towels, make beds, and ensure bathrooms are clean
•Take away dirty linens and trash
•Perform checks on all room appliances to ensure they are in good working condition
•Adjust furniture, desk items, and appliances when necessary
•Dust furnishings and walls and remove marks and other tarnishing
•Carry out floor care duties in hallway and guest rooms, and vacuum carpets
•Make sure that lost and found items are turned in
•Adhere to all safety, security, and company procedures and policies
•Ensure company standards are followed in welcoming and acknowledging all guests
•Expect service needs of guests and provide them even before called upon to do so
•Apply professional language in communicating with guests and associates
•Provide an immediate report of any safety hazards, injuries, maintenance problem, or accidents to the supervisor
•Maintain a good working relationship with all departments
•Provide support to the team to achieve common goals
•Maintain quality standards and expectations

Requirements
•Without assistance, carry, place, move or lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds; with assistance for items beyond 25 pounds.
•Physical stamina – 6-8 hrs of walking, bending, reaching, pushing/pulling
•Knowledge of basic cleaning principles and operation of cleaning equipment
•Represent the hotel in a positive and friendly manner at all times
•Possess high school diploma or its equivalent educational level
•Previous cleaning experience may be an advantage sometimes, but not generally required.
•Access to reliable transportation and a personal smartphone
•Ability to work in a fast paced environment with high attention to detail
Candidates who have received a written offer of employment will be required to undergo a test for commonly abused controlled substances.
