There has never been a more exciting time for Norwegian architecture! Bold designs and urban developments are popping up all over the country, and many of the projects reflect the powerful, often brutal contrasts in nature.

Sons of Norway District 2 Convention! The biennial convention took place in Bremerton and was hosted by the Poulsbo Sons of Norway. We were treated to an excellent convention that included Norwegian history, culture, cuisine, and of course a few business meetings. Our own Joanne Gray is District 2 President. Delegates this year were Linda Fialkowski, and Kevan & Betsy Hagen. Our lodge, Hovedstad Lodge won the "Lodge of the Year" award for 2025 - woo hoo!

Sons of Norway District 2 Convention! This year's convention was held in Bremerton and hosted by the Poulsbo Sons of Norway. We were treated to a wonderful experience - cuisine, culture, history, and of course, a few business meetings. The convention is held every two years. Our own Joanne Gray presides as District 2 President. Delegates this year were Linda Fialkowski, and Kevan & Betsy Hagen. Our lodge was selected as "Lodge of the Year" for 2025.

Our lodge hosted a Lefse "Free Hands On" Event on May 25. Attendees made lefse, cardamom sugar, and were treated to dinner. A special thank you to our helpers: Dan & Bobbi Bode, Mike & Sharon Masters, Terry Larson, Pete & Line Anderson, Deirdre Bissonnette, Jim This, and Kevan & Betsy Hagen. A good time was had by all!
