Guest houses built in 1898 with rustic charm. Five (of 7) suites have central air & heat. All suites have: WiFi + cable; private bath; kitchenette or bar sink w/ dining area; private entrance with keypad locks for self-check-in. Four suites have private exterior entrance. Here is description of Sunset Lodge:

Sunset Lodge is in the heart of the beautiful Leelanau Peninsula, overlooking Grand Traverse Bay in the charming village of Omena. We have 12 guest rooms & suites in 3 historic buildings. All rooms have private bath with modern amenities. The Wheeler House has 4 traditional guest rooms. The Dixie and Shedd Guest Houses have large suites offering more space and privacy. Large parties can book an entire cottage, accommodating up to 11 guests. Rates range from from $99 to $275 per night, plus tax and fees.

Our expansive grounds have many outdoor spaces to socialize and enjoy great views of Lake Michigan. We have a Social Hall building with pickleball court. It’s a quick walk to village of Omena, with popular waterfront restaurant & bar, winery tasting room, renowned art gallery, historical museum, and public beach. Omena and Sunset Lodge are listed in the National Register of Historic Places, and Sunset Lodge is a Michigan State Historic Site. Established 1898.
