📈 Are DVC resale prices increasing every month?
EACH MONTH, we round up all the DVC contracts that sold on the resale market to calculate the average sales prices. May numbers are in, and one trend continues to shape the market: inventory remains LOW.
With fewer contracts available for sale this year, prices have stayed remarkably strong across the resale market. While the overall average remained relatively flat from April to May, some resorts saw notable increases. Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows jumped from an average of $164 per point in April to $172 per point in May.
So what does this mean for buyers and sellers?
✅ If you want to SELL a DVC contract: Demand remains healthy, and well-priced contracts continue to attract buyers.
✅ If you want to BUY a DVC contract: If you're waiting for a major drop in prices, 2026 hasn't shown signs of that happening. Low inventory continues to support the market, and resale prices have remained surprisingly stable throughout the year.
The good news? Even with today's prices, buying resale can still save you more than $100 per point compared to buying direct from Disney.
