What a season! ❤️

We’re wrapping up our best season yet at Ebel’s Voyageur Houseboats, and we couldn’t be more thankful for everyone who made it such a great one!

One of our favorite things is getting to meet people from all over the country who travel to experience the beautiful place we’re lucky enough to call home — Voyageurs National Park.

We added this map to our office in early July, and it’s been so much fun watching it fill up as guests marked where they traveled from! We’re only missing Idaho, New Mexico, Louisiana, Rhode Island, and Alaska!

To our returning guests, our first-timers, and everyone who chose to spend part of their summer with us — thank you! We appreciate you more than you know and love being a small part of the memories you make here.

Here's to another great season, and we can't wait to see what 2027 brings!

🎉🌲 63 NATIONAL PARKS — and they chose Voyageurs for #63! 🚤

How incredible is that?! The Burkhardt family has officially visited 63 National Parks, and we were lucky enough to have them celebrate this amazing milestone with us at Ebel’s! ❤️

After 62 parks worth of adventures, we think finishing this milestone by houseboat is pretty hard to beat. 😉 There’s just something special about experiencing Voyageurs National Park from the water!

Congratulations to the entire Burkhardt family! What an amazing accomplishment, and even better — what incredible memories you’ve made together along the way. We’re honored that Ebel’s got to be part of #63! 🥳🌲🚤

Great news! A reminder to always use caution and make sure your fire is completely out.

🔥 Campfire restrictions lifted at Voyageurs National Park! 🔥

As of Monday, August 24, Voyageurs National Park has lifted parkwide campfire restrictions due to cooler weather and a lower risk of wildfire. Visitors may once again enjoy recreational campfires in designated metal fire rings.

🌲 Please continue to use caution: Fall is typically a dry season in Minnesota, and drought conditions remain across much of the state. Never leave a campfire unattended. To put one out, drown it thoroughly with water, stir the ashes and coals, and make sure everything is cold to the touch.

Thank you to everyone who supported and cooperated with park staff during the recent period of extreme fire danger.

We know many of you have been asking about conditions in our area. This map shows that our air quality is currently in the green (normal) here.

We remain open and operating as normal, and we continue to monitor conditions closely.

While we are thankful that our area is currently doing well, our thoughts and prayers remain with the firefighters, outfitters, local businesses, visitors, and communities impacted by the wildfires. We are incredibly grateful for everyone working so hard to protect our beautiful Northwoods. ❤️

We’ll continue to share updates if anything changes.

🎣 What a catch!

Last week on the Voyageur Plus 44', a guest landed this 40-inch Northern Pike after a 45-minute battle on a fly rod and spinning reel with a jig and plastic. The fish broke their net and nearly escaped before they got a picture!

After a quick photo, this gator was successfully released to swim another day. 🐟

Big day at Ebel’s! 🚤

The largest houseboat in Voyageurs National Park officially launched today! There’s nothing quite like seeing one of these beauties hit the water for the first time each season.

As always, Justin gave a beep for Joey. ❤️

Our new Dearson 2,000 gallon (UL 2085) above ground fireguard fuel tank has arrived! We’re excited to get this operational and put it to work.
