👻 The Cashtown Inn has always had a few ghost stories…and we are here to have some fun with it.

We’re having a little fun with our spooky reputation, and you’re invited!

Ghosts & Cocktails | Friday, October 30 | 6–9 PM

Make a night of it! Grab your friends, plan a date night, or get the whole crew together for dinner and drinks at the inn!

We’ll have Halloween-inspired cocktails, some delicious dinner specials, and our full everyday menu available.

And here’s where the fun comes in… 👻

You’ve seen those hilarious viral ghost photos all over social media. Now’s your chance to recreate them at a place that’s actually rumored to be haunted! 😂

Bring your own ghost photo outfits and props, and we’ll have designated spots throughout the inn where you can have some fun taking pictures.

No admission fee! Just a fun Halloween night out with good food, drinks, and a few ghosts hanging around.

🍽️ Dinner reservations are highly encouraged! Walk-ins are welcome as space allows.

Spooky season has made its way onto this week’s specials at Cashtown.

Witch’s Cauldron Pumpkin Bisque
Creamy roasted pumpkin bisque finished with a rich balsamic reduction.

Blood Moon Beet Salad
Roasted red beets, goat cheese, candied walnuts, dried cranberries and mixed greens tossed in sherry vinaigrette.

Devil’s Cut Sirloin
Black pepper-crusted sirloin with red w**e demi-glace, roasted carrots and crispy Brussels sprouts with balsamic reduction.

Haunted Harvest Scallops
Pan-seared scallops over sweet corn purée with apple c***r reduction, roasted corn and crispy prosciutto.

Did you know Cashtown Inn has been giving travelers a place to stay for more than 200 years?

By 1815, the Inn had four rooms available for travelers passing through Cashtown.

More than two centuries later, guests are still spending the night here….today we have four guest rooms, three suites, and our Officers Reserve apartment.

This is a peek inside Room 2. Like the rest of the Inn, it has its own mix of old character, antique details and modern comforts.

A lot has changed since the stagecoach days, but one thing hasn’t…Cashtown is still a place for travelers to stop and stay awhile.

Brian and Mary both celebrated birthdays this past week, and we want to take a moment to wish them both a very special year ahead! 🥳

Some people make a difference simply by being who they are, and Brian and Mary are two of those people! We are so grateful to have them as part of our Cashtown Inn family. Their kindness, dedication, and willingness to always lend a hand mean more to us than they know. ❤️

We hope this next trip around the sun brings them both a year filled with happiness, love, laughter, and all the wonderful things they deserve!

Cashtown has been hopping this week, and spooky season is officially in full swing.

Drinks at the tavern, dinner coming out of the kitchen, a full house, and that perfect fall-evening atmosphere we wait all year for.

If you’re thinking about joining us next week, now’s a good time to make those reservations.

🏡 WE’RE HIRING! JOIN OUR TEAM AT THE HISTORIC CASHTOWN INN!

We’re looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our housekeeping team!

We have 2 part-time positions available, with the possibility of a third position for occasional, on-call help.

Our property includes historic guest rooms, an apartment, and rental homes. We’re looking for people who take pride in their work, pay attention to the little details, and enjoy creating clean, comfortable, and welcoming spaces for our guests.

🧹 A Little About the Positions:
• Flexible, part-time scheduling based on reservations
• Primarily late morning and afternoon hours
• Weekday and weekend availability
• Cleaning assignments range from individual guest rooms to full rental homes
• Previous cleaning experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right people!

💰 Compensation:
• Inn & Apartment: $15 per hour
• Rental Homes: $75–$150 per completed home, depending on the property. Rental-home cleaning includes laundry.

Schedules and hours will vary depending on reservations, with some shorter shifts and longer cleaning assignments on busier days.
