September is here and fall fishing has begun! We have had several good reports the last week or so and of course a few reports that were not so good. The bluegill bite has been best in 7-10 foot of water near w**d edges or structure. The bait of choice has varied from waxworms, redworms, spikes and leeches...YES WE HAVE LEECHES!
We are also hearing some good perch bites as well! Walleyes and other species are hit or miss, but we have also been suprised to hear a few dock fishermen getting bluegills and walleyes already. For those not getting fish, you may be fishing too deep, try moving shallower. We are looking forward to seeing everyone this Labor Day weekend!

During a Border West high school fishing event on Big Stone Lake yesterday, Blake Fuhrman caught this monster 42.5 inch pike! Josh Dozak was the boat captain and Gabe Dozak and Tegan Cardwell were in the boat also. Congrats on your big catch Blake!!!
