The Wilcox-Cutts House is a Greek revival mansion located on 238 acres of woodlands and meadows with Adirondack views surrounding a wildlife area located in Vermont's Champlain Valley.

Working in the vineyard! We now have 3 planted vineyards, with 1,500 vines and several cold hardy varietals, including Marquette, Petite Pearl, Frontenac, Frontenac blanc and more. We envision a tasting room and pizza oven in the summer, and perhaps some music as well. It’s always good to dream big!

The guest house has been a major project since we purchased Brookside, and all of the windows needed to be updated and replaced. David Peter Moser has been a huge help, painting every single one, and most are now installed! We also completely replaced the heating system and will put in air conditioning this summer. More photos to come soon of the updated interior. The drywall and dated wallpaper is mostly gone, and David spent the winter painting and restoring the original bead board. Next up are bathrooms, kitchen and figuring out how to restore the wood floors.

Late Summer glow in Orwell Vermont at . The season has slipped by quickly, and we’ve been a bit quiet on here, as some major changes of life have taken place. We are grateful to live in this beautiful and peaceful home, and promise to post more of the progress being made on this historic property soon.
