Meet Monique ✨🌹
Hi! I’m Monique, the stylist behind Beauty&Monique, and I’m so excited to begin this new chapter behind the chair!
I’m a recent cosmetology graduate with a passion for beauty, healthy hair, creativity, and making people feel good about themselves. I love seeing a transformation come together, but even more than that, I love the confidence that can come with it.
Cosmetology has become a special part of my testimony. I began this journey during a season when I was rebuilding, rediscovering myself, and learning who I am outside of the roles I’ve carried for so many years. Along the way, God showed me that sometimes purpose can be found in places you never expected to look.
Finishing cosmetology school represented so much more to me than completing a program. It represented faith, perseverance, growth, and the courage to keep moving forward into something new.
So, a little about me outside of the salon…
I’m a wife and a mother of seven. I love going to the beach, cooking with my husband, discovering new things, and honestly just continuing to learn things about myself that I never knew before. I also LOVE to laugh and joke around, so if you sit in my chair, there’s a pretty good chance we’re going to laugh about something. 😂
Another part of my life that means a lot to me is serving as a Women’s Recovery Leader with Survivor Led Solutions, a local nonprofit organization. Being able to pour my time and energy into supporting women as they move forward in their own lives is something I truly value.
My faith is a huge part of who I am, and I believe every part of my journey—the beautiful parts, the difficult parts, the unexpected turns, and even the things I didn’t understand at the time—has helped shape the woman I’m becoming.
Now I get to bring all of those pieces of myself into this next chapter: my faith, my personality, my love for people, my creativity, and my passion for beauty.
I’m excited to continue learning and growing as a stylist, building relationships with my clients, and creating a chair where you can come in, relax, laugh, talk, and leave feeling a little more beautiful and confident than when you walked in.
