The lodging isn't all your group gets — the 1,200 acres come with it too. Fishing, the pools, hot tubs, hammock time under the stars, the open trails and outdoor games — that's all part of what your people get to enjoy together when you rent Dead Cat Ranch, with horseback riding and the UTV/ATV rentals available for an additional fee. And here's the part planners love most: no crowds, no other bookings happening nearby. Just your group and the quiet of East Texas. What is included when you rent an entire ranch? On this week's episode, we answer the question we hear most from planners and organizers across East Texas: when your group reserves Dead Cat Ranch here in Palestine, the whole twelve hundred acres are yours. Three cabins, two Airstreams, and the bunkhouse, the entire property, all of it held for your one group at a time. Enjoy fishing, the pools, hot tubs, trails, and outdoor games included in your stay, with UTV/ATV rentals, horseback riding, shooting, and classes available for an additional fee. No piecing a retreat together from a dozen vendors. If you're an HR leader, a family organizer, or a production coordinator comparing venues, this one makes your planning so much simpler. With us you have the freedom to tailor your stay to your group's preferences and set your own pace, and rejuvenation, connection with nature, creativity, and a fresh perspective are all part of the experience. 🎧 Full episode: https://share.transistor.fm/s/d6b00244?v=1792352590589

Filming and photography are honestly the projects that light me up the most. There's something about watching creative people use this land in ways my dad never imagined when he built it that makes every bit of this worthwhile. So if you're planning a documentary, a commercial, a photo shoot, or a feature, let's talk about your dates and what your production needs. We'll walk through whether the ranch is the right fit for your shoot — twelve hundred private acres here in Palestine, Texas, all yours for the length of your production. Give us a call at 903-372-0728. Come out and relax, play, and stay at Dead Cat Ranch.

Scouting a film location in East Texas? Location scouts and production coordinators ask us one thing all the time: where do you find a property that gives you total control of the frame? If you've ever shot somewhere a neighbor's truck rolled through your wide shot, you already know why that matters. When you rent the whole ranch here at Dead Cat Ranch in Palestine, all 1,200 acres are yours — no strangers wandering into the background of your hero shot, just room for your crew, your gear, and backdrops that change as you work. Give us a call at 903-372-0728 to talk it through.

Twelve hundred private acres, all of it yours — that's why so many production coordinators choose to rent the whole ranch at Dead Cat Ranch. When your production books us, nobody else is on the property for the length of your shoot. One group at a time, no competing bookings to work around. And the variety out here gives you a lot of looks in one location: wide open East Texas landscape, wooded trails, and places to stay that are all part of the rental. Your cast and crew can sleep right where you shoot, which saves hours of hauling everybody back and forth. Give us a call and let's talk through your dates.
