Step back in time as you check in at our antique ticket counter, and sip some complimentary Nescafe coffee while gazing upon the exqu

isite decor in our parlor. Each piece of furniture has been hand-picked, with many having been lovingly refinished and brought back to their original glory, by your dedicated hosts. Among our collection of rail-themed art, we are proud to display the incredible mural work of noted painter, Averil Cronwell, decorating our two longest expanses of wall. Cozy nooks and sitting areas can be found throughout the Inn; perfect places to read a newspaper or a book with your complimentary muffins and fresh fruit in the morning. Each spacious King or Queen-sized room comes complete with a brand new mattress, 100% Egyptian cotton bedding, and its own private bath. Each bath has luxurious marble floors, and our largest room meets the ADA standards for accommodation accessibility. Every room at the Trainmaster’s Inn is unique and has its own style, and many rooms have a private sitting area that’s great for cozying up to read a newspaper with a morning cup of coffee. With easy access to Route 20 and the I-90 Turnpike, The Trainmaster’s Inn is the perfect place to stay to check out historic Massachusetts events like the Brimfield Antique Shows, The Big E Train Show, and Old Sturbridge Village! Our MAIDEN VOYAGE took place Sunday, April 14th 2024 with Hardwick Farms. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people on board to share the expierence with.

Bygone Excursions has been in the works for two years and it’s exciting to finally see the results. It’s amazing to see how things can really come full circle with the people who have helped make this a reality. Personally, I am truly honored to be working with my childhood teachers, schoolmates, and the community so closely. I am so grateful to all those that have helped along the way! And most importantly to my family and friends!
