🌴 A Little Behind-the-Scenes Look at Checkout Day! (Here are some photos of what can be left behind by some renters.)🏖️
You may have heard about Airbnb's updated guidelines regarding cleaning expectations for guests. We wanted to take a moment to explain what we ask of our guests at 401 Beach Rentals and, more importantly, WHY we ask!
First, we don't expect our guests to clean our condos before leaving. You're on vacation, after all! ☀️
We simply appreciate a few small things at checkout:
🛏️ Leave the sheets on the beds. Our cleaning team will take care of stripping and washing the bedding.
🛁 Keep used towels in the bathrooms, preferably in the bathtubs, so they're easy to collect.
🍽️ Place dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start it. We greatly appreciate it! A dishwasher cycle can take up to 1.5 hours, so getting it started helps tremendously.
🗑️ Dispose of your garbage in the trash chute conveniently located on the same floor.
So why do these little things matter?
Our cleaning team has a limited window between checkout and the next guest's arrival to thoroughly clean, sanitize, wash linens, and prepare the condo.
One thing we take pride in at 401 Beach Rentals is allowing early check-ins whenever possible! We know how exciting it is to arrive at the beach, and we'd much rather get you into your condo early than have you waiting until 4 PM.
These small courtesies help make that possible!
They also help us keep cleaning costs reasonable. When turnovers take significantly longer, cleaning expenses increase, which can eventually mean higher rental rates or adjustments to check-in and checkout times.
Our goal has always been simple: provide a beautiful, clean condo, keep costs reasonable, and make your vacation experience as enjoyable as possible.
