My first job… at 14 yrs old

Is your kid above working fast food? It was the entry level jobs that helped me propel me forward to appreciate where I am today.

I don’t forget where I started.

Most think I started at

There’s 30 years of growth between Dairy Queen and Parkton Place.

No, this place did “just” happen. I wasn’t handed it. I made it!

He doesn’t have a name He doesn’t have a stall a feed bucket or a spot on the website
Every morning when I walk into the barn he’s there same corner same look on his face same complete lack of interest in what I think about any of this
We have horses, peacocks, emu, donkeys, parrots, and mini cows on this property. The toad is the only one who showed up without being invited never once asked for anything in return
pest control, zero drama, impeccable, attendance record
Parkton Place has 30 acres and more animals than most people can name
Somehow, he’s the one I think about on the drive home.
