Nobody has ever opened a drawer and thought,
You know what this needs? More socks.

Give them something better.

A night away. A slow morning. Breakfast they didn't have to make. And absolutely nothing they have to find room for in a closet.

Main Street Inn gift certificates are available online—and yes, they're better than socks. 😉

Some things just come naturally.

Mr. Ray would like it noted that no wardrobe consultation was required.

We could pretend this all happened by accident.

The pumpkins just appeared. Breakfast happened to be warm. Someone turned on the fire tables. Parkville decided to show off.

October set the mood. We handled the details. 😉

Stay Happy. 💛

You know they are coming.
You just didn't know they were coming this fast.

Thanksgiving. Christmas. Family. Traditions. Plans.
And perhaps the brilliant realization that loving your family does not require sleeping under the same roof. 😉

We have a room for that.

Holiday stays at Main Street Inn are booking now.
Stay Happy. 💛

Following certain allegations raised in the latest Bow-Tie Dispatch, Caught in the Act, the Office of Mr. Ray has completed its review of current access policies.

The findings are troubling.
The rules, apparently, are not.

Stay Happy. 💛

Old Kate has been getting a little jealous.

The suites get plenty of attention around here, but our smallest room has quietly been collecting a fan club of her own. 💛

Cozy. Peaceful. Thoughtful. And apparently capable of turning first-time B&B guests into repeat offenders. 😉

Not bad for the little room upstairs.
Stay Happy. 💛

Fall came to breakfast.

It brought squash, sweet potatoes, apples, sausage, walnuts, and goat cheese.

We brought the maple syrup.

Nobody suggested restraint. 😉

Autumn Harvest Hash has officially joined the breakfast rotation at Main Street Inn.

The guests have spoken. We may have created a situation.

Stay Happy. 💛

Good Morning.
There have been allegations. There is photographic evidence.
And apparently, I have been caught in the act.
I will not be discussing it further.

What I will be discussing is the curious double standard surrounding restricted access at this establishment—and the covert operation known as housekeeping.
There are rules.

Bow-Tie Dispatch No. 6 has dropped.

I certainly won't be explaining.

But he won’t.

Well... that escalated. What started with a few mugs and a small corner of the Inn has officially become The Gift Shop.

And now that The 1885 Collection has joined the shelves, we figured it was probably time to make things official.

You'll find our full-size bath & body products, The Smalls, INN Dreams, Main Street Inn mugs and a few other things we've decided you probably need.

Because apparently letting you enjoy everything while you're here wasn't enough.

A Collection of Good Decisions.
Take one home. We support this behavior. 😉

Stay Happy. 💛
