Gscale Railroad that is located at the Gap Campground. Opened RV and tent camping. Bring your own RC battery powered Gscale trains to run on 500’ of main line and/or just camp and enjoy the surrounding area like the local dinosaur tracks or Indian petroglyphs.

This little 10 year old Piko locomotive had over 12 hours run time at our Open House and went through two 3500mah batteries. Not one derailment or issue. Always my “goto” loco when it’s time to just sit, relax and enjoy the surroundings. 🍺🚂⛰️

Thank you to everyone that made it out to see the model railroad layout for our first Open House! It was a pleasure to have met you all and chat about trains.
The star was definitely the Piko #707 locomotive that ran continuously for 5 hours each day.

Loco #14 is back in the shop for broken pilot truck so #34 finishes the run into Stoney Creek yard.

Changes…added another turnout on the lower right. This will be for a new additional subdivision for logging and mining up on the mountain. It will also allow two trains to continuously run on separate lines. But one will have 2.5% grade where the other is mostly flat.
