Family vacations for us often included stays at resorts and inns, which for our family seemed a bit more comfortable than the traditional choice of a hotel room. Upon our return from vacations, we often thought that Paw Paw could use more lodging options. A small, close-knit community with a draw for local tourism with its area lakes, wineries, and notable dining choices, lead us to purchase the former Waverly House and convert it to a bed and breakfast inn. This “conversion” took the handiwork of all six members of our family, and in August 2006 we made our vision a reality with the opening of The Inn at Paw Paw. The Inn, like our community, has a uniqueness that makes anyone visiting feel at home. Upon arrival, you will be treated to a complimentary offering of sparkling juices and light refreshments. An overnight stay also includes a free complimentary breakfast. Our two bedrooms each feature a private bath and comfortable furnishings. The dining room, living room, back deck, and front porch also offer room to roam and spend relaxing moments. Rental of the whole Inn can accommodate up to 8. FrontA DVD is available to acquaint you with area focal points and events upon your arrival, and our family is here to assist you with making dinner reservations and familiarizing you with our town’s offerings. The Inn also offers a unique setting for small, private parties, meetings, and banquets with access to full dining services, accommodating up to 40.
