A view from the lake.. “Ohana” Resort

We have been asked several times.. How did you think to transform this piece of land into a resort? Well...My husband had a vision one day as we were cruising around Lake Lida. A real estate listing for a beautiful piece of property had just hit the market. Art took me to the property and proceeded to convince me that we should transform this land into a destination for families. Many of our favorite memories with our two daughters have taken place on Lake Lida! If only there was a way to get more families to the lake to make memories and realize how wondrous it truly is.

Well, that's settles that.. We made up our minds and decided that we were going to make a destination resort for families to be able to come and enjoy the lake and all its beauty. Shortly after we purchased the land the work began to transform this property into a 15 unit seasonal resort campground.

“Ohana Resort?” Why the name... Part of Hawaiian culture, ‘Ohana’ means Family.
