✨ COMMUNITY TABLE DINNER UPDATE ✨

A handful of tickets just opened up — if you’ve been thinking about going, this is your sign. The Community Table Dinner is next Saturday, September 12th right here in Penn Yan, and this event is always one of the most electric nights in our village.

We haven’t seen the full menu yet, but if you’ve ever been to a Community Table Dinner, you already know what these chefs do. Expect oysters, smoked meats, homemade breads and spreads, wild creativity, and a whole lot of local produce transformed by ten of our region’s kitchen wizards. It’s the kind of meal you talk about for months.

And — we have two rooms left at Finger Lakes Bed & Breakfast for that weekend.

Here at Finger Lakes Bed & Breakfast, we’re watching Main Street get that little October sparkle… you know the one. The “kids‑in‑costumes‑soon” feeling. And we want to make October 24, 4–6 PM absolutely magical for them.

So we’re calling every local business, every neighbor, every friend with anything on wheels — Jeeps, trucks, vans, work vehicles, grandma’s Buick that only comes out on holidays — if it has a trunk, we want it.

All we need is simple:

🚗 A decorated trunk
🍬 Candy for the kiddos
💜 A little Penn Yan heart

We’re building a Trunk or Treat that feels like a storybook — cozy, silly, spooky, and full of community love. But we can’t do it alone.

Every August, the vines behind our inn begin their quiet transformation — and this week, our nearly 200‑year‑old Concord grapes are turning that deep, velvety purple we wait for all year.

There’s something magical about watching fruit that’s been growing here for generations come alive again. These vines have seen almost two centuries of summers, storms, harvests, and hands that cared for them… and now they’re almost ready for what our guests look forward to most: our famous Concord grape pies.

The video says it all — the clusters are heavy, the skins are just starting to soften, and the scent in the air is that unmistakable Finger Lakes sweetness.

We’re getting close. And we can’t wait to share this season’s first pies with our guest. 🍇🥧💜
