IT’S Florida Forest Festival TIME!
October is here, and that means one thing in Taylor County…Florida Forest Festival season! From pageants and carnival rides to fireworks, parades, lumberjacks, live music and the World’s Largest Free Fish Fry, there’s a whole month of fun headed our way!

👑 Miss Florida Forest Festival Queen Pageant: 6pm
📅 SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10
👑 Florida Forest Festival Little King and Queen Pageant: 6:00 PM
OCTOBER 21–24: The CARNIVAL with Lisko Family Amusements!
🎟️ Any ONE-Day Pass is $20
OCTOBER 22: Thursday Night Fireworks light up the Taylor County sky at 8:00 PM SHARP at the Perry-Foley Airport!
OCTOBER 23: Friday Night DOWNTOWN FUN!
🐾 Kids’ Parade: 6:15 PM
🐶 Strut Your Mutt Contest: 6:45 PM
🛏️ Bed Race: 7:00 PM
🌲🪓 SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24: FESTIVAL DAY!! 🪓🌲
We’ll kick off the day downtown with the King Tree Parade at 9:30 AM, ( If you need an application for the parade www.floridaforestfestival.org)celebrating this year’s theme:

Then head over to Forest Capital State Park for a full day of festival fun, including:
