As most of you know, last year the hurricane hit directly downtown Perry, Florida. Although Greystone was in need of a new roof before the hurricane, the damage from storm made getting a new roof a priority.

Here is a little glimpse of before, during and after. Greystone Manor is now one step closer to looking like its glory days.

Now known as The "Greystone", it once was known by the name The "Margarette".

This is an old postcard that was scanned from Mark Southerland's Taylor County Postcard Collection. As you can see, it was before the sidewalks were poured, and possibly before the streets were paved!
