Valley View Cottage Beautiful cottage in a 24-acre park setting. Very secluded home overlooking Mohican area valley. Beside that is a Weber gas BBQ grill.

The cottage includes three charming bedrooms, two baths, country style kitchen and a large open living room with plenty of windows to view the valley, sunsets and wildlife. The living room flows into the dining room with a dining room table with seating for six. The kitchen includes all you need to make a simple meal or a very elaborate dinner. There is a small table in the kitchen with four stool

s for kids or snacks. Outside includes a new large paved side deck with a large pavilion that is waterproof and provides lots of shade. There is a swing on the side yard overlooking the pond and woods and is a great place to read and relax. In the front of the cottage is a large paved patio that includes a fire pit and Italian outdoor wood- fired pizza oven. Near the cottage is a small fishing pond with a dock and seating as well as a new picnic table. A free standing furnished solar powered tree house is located next to Valley View Cottage. Great place for kids to camp out in season. We provide sleeping bags and cots for it. It has two decks with the upper deck offering great views and is ideal for bird watching. Stretch your legs throughout this 24-acre park setting and enjoy plenty of wildlife, flowers, wild berries and quiet spaces. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail on the dock and try your luck with fishing. If you want to take a longer walk/run there are multiple trails leading around the picturesque countryside and Mohican State Park is just minutes away. The home is accessed by a gravel driveway. In snowy weather we suggest that you have 4-wheel drive to navigate the maintained gravel driveway.

Greetings to all of our past and future guests! Due to health challenges with me and Mel we have delayed opening of Valley View Cottage to Memorial Day weekend. We will be open on weekends after Memorial Day for reservations with a Sunday checkout day This is when we have help with cleaning. Feel free to contact Jo Anne if you have any requests or questions. We hope, as owners and hosts, that our schedule will be back to normal after this year. Thank you for your understanding. :)
