🎃🐻 Honey Run’s very first Halloween is officially in the books… and WOW. Just WOW.
We had an idea. We hoped people would have fun with it. We thought maybe a few campers would go a little crazy decorating.
We wildly underestimated you people. 😂
Our seasonal campers didn’t just decorate their sites — they went ALL. FREAKING. IN. The creativity, the time, the details, the candy, the costumes… these sites were absolutely mind-blowing. But the best part? You created an entire campground where kids AND adults could run around, laugh, get a little spooky, eat way too much candy, and just have a freaking BLAST.
Scott and Tessie knew better than to even attempt judging the decorated sites. 😂 We handed that responsibility over to three brave souls who quickly discovered that choosing ONE winner was basically an impossible task.
Let’s just say… Scott and Tessie were VERY happy those decisions weren’t ours to make. 🤣
Then we opened the gates.
And you guys just kept coming.
Cars lined the road. Costumes came pouring through the gate. Kids with candy buckets were everywhere. Our Honey Run crew scattered to their stations — handing out candy, taking pictures, helping guests, and feeding one seriously hungry crowd at the food truck.
And for a little while, we got to stand there and actually look at what all of us had created together.
That was the coolest part.
Because Honey Run can plan the events. We can book the entertainment. We can come up with crazy ideas and figure out how the heck to pull them off.
But YOU are what makes this place special.
Our seasonal campers. Our guests. Our crew. Our local businesses. The people who say “heck yes, we’re in” and then somehow take an idea and make it bigger than we imagined.
A HUGE thank you to You and Me Real Estate, Gridiron Restaurant, SWS Enterprises, and Modern Electric for jumping in and helping us make our first Boo Bash something people will remember. 💙
And apparently we learned something else…
ONE decorated-site winner is NOT enough. 😂
So when Boo Bash returns Labor Day Weekend 2027, we’re going bigger. More opportunities for our seasonal campers to win. More prizes. More fun. And probably more ridiculous ideas we haven’t even thought of yet. 👻🎃
Want your business to be part of it next year? Reach out! We’ll begin promoting our 2027 sponsors in January, which means you won’t just be sponsoring one night — we’ll be showing you some love all season long.
To every single person who decorated, dressed up, donated, worked, visited, ate, danced, laughed, handed out candy or simply showed up…
THANK YOU.
You made Honey Run’s first Halloween one hell of a night.
And now you’ve given us an entire year to figure out how the heck we’re going to top it. 😂🔥
Challenge accepted. See you in 2027. 🎃🐻💙
📸 AND WE’RE NOT DONE YET! Stay tuned because we have SO MANY pictures from the evening to share! The costumes, the campsites, the crowds, the laughs… we captured so much of the fun and can’t wait for you to see it all! 🎃👻💛
