You’ve seen the signs. You’ve seen the posts. Now it’s time to see what the Arcadia Valley Games are all about. 👀

On Saturday, June 6, Shepherd Mountain Lake Park turns into a full day of hometown competition, family fun, and outdoor adventure — with running, walking, mountain biking, kayaking, fishing, a scavenger hunt, concessions, prizes, bike giveaways, and plenty of room to cheer from a lawn chair.

You don’t have to be an athlete to be part of it. Come race, ride, paddle, fish, walk, cheer, volunteer, or just sit by the lake and enjoy the day.

Parking will be at the Lions Club Fairgrounds, with shuttles running to and from the lake. You’re welcome to drop off chairs, coolers, and supplies at the lake first, then park at the fairgrounds and ride back.

Put down the mower. Step away from the couch. Bring the family.

This is the kind of Saturday people remember. ☀️

We’re putting together a truck show and want to see the hardest-working, best-looking, and most unique vehicles in the area.

If you’ve got something that stands out—lifted, restored, work-built, or just plain tough—we want you there.

We’re especially calling on local blue-collar crews and trades:

Semi Trucks, big and small haulers
Construction & excavation
Electricians
Plumbers
HVAC techs
Linemen
Farmers & ag equipment operators
Logging crews & sawmills
Mechanics & tow operators
Landscapers & hardscape crews
Concrete & asphalt crews
Fire/EMS & service vehicles
Utility and municipal trucks

Work trucks, service rigs, flatbeds, welding trucks, bucket trucks, farm trucks, and anything built with purpose are all welcome.

We will also be parading through downtown Ironton at 10 A.M. with lots of candy and goodies!
