Remember when summer wasn't spent staring at a screen?
Swimming until your fingers wrinkled.
Catching crawdads.
Skipping rocks.
Getting sunburned because nobody remembered sunscreen.
Making friends with kids whose names you never learned.
Coming home dirty, tired, and happy.
The funny thing is... those are still the memories we talk about.
Not the toys.
Not the video games.
Not the stuff.
The adventures.
Take the kids floating.
Let them hunt for crawdads and cool rocks.
Let them catch fish.
Let them wave at strangers floating by.
Let them stay up too late around a campfire.
The tablets will get replaced.
The toys will get forgotten.
But they'll remember the summer they spent outside with you.
Trade the Wi-Fi for river time.
