Just another part of summer at Ridgewood.

The Sandbar Riverboat spends summer weekends out at Gilligan’s Island on the Wisconsin River, where boaters can come aboard for drinks, food and a pretty incredible day on the water.

The Sandbar is family owned and operated by the same family behind Ridgewood RV Resort, all right here on the same stretch of river we call home.

Join us Saturday, September 12 from 11AM–3PM for our 2027 Seasonal Site Open House at Ridgewood on the River RV Resort in Plover.

Ridgewood is a family-owned seasonal RV resort and boating community where our members spend their summers on the water. Enjoy mature wooded sites, beautiful water views, waterfront sites, boat slips, miles of navigable Wisconsin River, direct UTV trail access, and the Lake House Beach Club right on property. Every site includes water & electric, with sewer and optional fiber internet at select sites.

Come take a personal golf cart tour and explore our available 2027 sites. While you’re here, enjoy Smokey Ridge BBQ LLC, live music, and a championship race car on display at The Lake House Beach Club.

Open House Special: $500 off your 2027 seasonal site. Reserve with $250, applied directly toward your site fee.

Families are welcome at the Open House! We also have a family-friendly swimming pond & Aqua Park for all ages. The Lake House is 21+ to the general public, while Ridgewood members can enjoy it with their teenage children under our member wristband policy.

One of our favorite photos from this summer.

Curly and Sue have created such a beautiful spot along the water here at Ridgewood. Their landscaping and warm evening lighting look especially good after dark, with the fountain glowing across the water in the background.

We had to stop and grab a photo as the full moon was coming up that evening. A pretty special place to spend a Wisconsin summer.

Ridgewood is a family-owned seasonal RV resort, welcoming families to the Wisconsin River since 1972. With waterfront campsites, private boat docks, and miles of beautiful river right outside your door, it’s a pretty special place to spend the summer.
