With all the recent changes to vacation rentals and booking platforms, Airbnb’s move to temporary phone numbers is one example (they’ve released multiple changes that we are very disappointed with), can make it harder to stay connected with guests after their stay, we’ve been reflecting on something that has always mattered to us: hospitality is personal.

When you stay with us, you’re not communicating with a management company or a stranger behind a screen. You’re communicating with our family. We love answering questions before your trip, helping you feel prepared for your stay, and even hearing from guests long after they’ve gone home.

Once a month, we make the trip to Port Aransas to care for the little things — restocking everyday essentials, cleaning beneath couch cushions, cleaning tiny crumbs out of the silverware drawer, cleaning windows, and making sure our home feels welcoming. We do these things because this place means so much to us.

Port Aransas holds our childhood memories, and now our children are making memories here, too. Our greatest hope is that Casa Bendita becomes part of your family’s story.

While platforms like Airbnb start to cause more of a separation between guests and hosts, our heart for our guests and our hospitality won’t change. ❤️

If you believe in supporting family-owned vacation homes and the people who pour their hearts into them, please share our website with your friends and family. Every share helps us connect with families who want to make memories of their own.

Thank you for being part of the Casa Bendita story. 🌊

One of our favorite things about Port Aransas...Roberts Point Park. This is a great spot that has a beautiful playground, easy access to dolphin spotting, a pier to fish, and much more.

Staying at Casa Bendita puts you close to all our favorite coastal gems 💙
