The trails around Port Washington are looking especially good right now, and Lion’s Den Gorge is no exception! Between the winding paths, colorful trees, and views of Lake Michigan, it’s one of those places that’s even better in person.

Port Washington wasn’t made to be rushed ☀️ 🌊

Walk the harbor. Head out on a Lake Michigan fishing charter. Make your way to the breakwater lighthouse. Wander the shops and restaurants downtown. Take in the views from Upper Lake Park, hit the Ozaukee Interurban Trail, or venture just outside town for the trails and bluffs at Lion’s Den Gorge. There’s a lot waiting along this stretch of Lake Michigan.

And when one day starts feeling a little too short? Stay the extra night at The Harborview and pick up where you left off tomorrow.
