A new client. A new destination to plan. ✈️

This week I’m meeting with a new client about Iceland — and this is one of my favorite parts of being a travel advisor.

Sometimes clients come to me knowing exactly where they want to go. Other times, we start with an idea, a budget and the kind of experience they’re looking for — and I help determine what destination and itinerary make the most sense.

That’s where working with a travel advisor can make a difference.

It’s hard to believe it’s already been a week since I returned home from E3 in Los Cabos! ✈️🌴

I’ve had some time to go through my notes, follow up with new connections and really think about everything I learned and experienced.

Yes, there were beautiful resorts, incredible dinners and some amazing views—but E3 was about so much more than that.

I had the opportunity to experience properties firsthand, learn from other travel professionals and strengthen relationships with the suppliers I work with when planning my clients’ vacations.

One of my biggest takeaways was the reminder that there is always more to learn in this business. There’s a big difference between seeing a resort online and actually walking the property, experiencing the atmosphere and meeting the people behind it. That firsthand knowledge helps me make better recommendations for my clients.

I came home with new ideas, new connections and a renewed excitement about growing Excursion Travel—and I’m already starting to put some of those ideas into action. 💚
