43 years ago, McMenamins opened the doors of its very first pub.

22 years after Kennedy School closed its doors, McMenamins helped open them again. ✨

That's one of our favorite things about this company: seeing possibility where others see an ending.

What was once a condemned school became a neighborhood gathering place filled with art, music, food, laughter, and stories. And nearly three decades later, those halls are still full of life.

So as we celebrate McMenamins' 43rd Anniversary, we're also celebrating places like Kennedy School! Saved, reimagined, and given a second chapter.
