Everyone went back to school. We’re not complaining. 😎🌊 We think it’s the perfect time to book a stay with us to visit Lake Texoma and all it has to offer.

It still feels like summer with the warm temps, sunny days, and perfect water conditions—but there are a whole lot fewer people.

Weekdays and midday are especially hard to beat. Sometimes you really do feel like you have the lake to yourself.

This was the view at Island View Park… a full 180° with not a single person in sight. 👀 (Well, except my favorite fisherman if you look really closely. 😉)

Springtime at the lake never disappoints! 🌿🦃

This week we were treated to quite the show. We saw a male wild turkey strutting proudly through the field with his feathers fully fanned out to impress a female. Nature at its finest!

And out on the water, we spotted a pair of American white pelicans hanging out at the islands on the lake. Seeing these beautiful birds up close is always such a treat and one of the many surprises lake life brings. 🦢🌅

You never know what wildlife you’ll see during your stay. It’s just one more reason guests love hanging out at the lake!
