Our mission is to promote all that is good and noble in Norwegian culture, especially Poulsbo area. Nine women were admitted in 1923.

The Sons of Norway Fraternal Benefit Society was established in 1895 to preserve the best of the Norwegian heritage and culture. The Poulsbo Lodge was formed on February 22, 1916 by thirty-six men of Norwegian descent. In 1973, the Lodge opened its new Grieg Hall. The beautiful lodge is located on the Poulsbo waterfront with a panoramic view of Liberty Bay. With unobstructed views over Liberty Bay, the lodge has the feel of being on a Norwegian fjord. The Lodge and its members belong to District #2 covering Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska. The Lodge holds its business meetings on the second of Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm.

This Wednesday, November 4th, at 6:30 in the Viking Room, guest presenter Brandon Harding will share information about the program "Veterans in the Wild: Healing Through Nature." This will be an interesting presentation for all. All members and their guests are invited to attend. Join us!

The October "Ladies Night In" was a huge success. So many ladies came, and all had a wonderful time seeing friends and making new friends.

The holidays are here, so we agreed to pause in November and December and meet again on January 26 for our "Ladies Night In" to celebrate the new year and come together for more fun, laughter, and friendship. Mark your calendar now!

We warmly invite you to join us in participating in the Veterans Day Parade in Poulsbo on Nov. 11th at 11:00 AM. Veterans who prefer not to walk may ride proudly on the Viking Boat, and all participants will receive a flag representing their branch of service. Whether marching or riding, your presence honors our community and nation.

The Poulsbo Sons of Norway Lodge extends its deepest gratitude to all Veterans within our Lodge family. Your service and sacrifice continue to inspire us.

It’s that time of year again!! We are accepting Halloween candy donations for our downtown poulsbo trick or treat on 10/31. Please bring in bags of individually wrapped candy to pass out to kiddos (and lodge members!) There will be a box outside of the lodge office to drop off donated candy. Don’t want to shop? We’ll take your cash and buy the candy on your behalf too, just leave it with Christina in the office. There is no such thing as too much candy and for this event we go through a ton!!

The Trolls Den is hosting a weekly cribbage group on Wednesdays at 6 PM. If you love cribbage, please visit the Trolls Den on Wednesdays at 6 PM for one or more games of cribbage.

We are representing our Poulsbo Sons of Norway at the Sons of Norway District 2 Steak Fry held at the Trollhaugen Lodge. Shannon Shannon Niemeyer Perez & Joe Perez, Donna & Robert Kodalen, Laura & Mike Joy, Theresa & Curtis Vincent , Karen Scott and me, Jason Scott . We love the wooded environment, our steaks were great, and it was good visiting the Trollhaugen lodge in the mountains. 120 people attended.
