Last week we held an intimate ceremony to honor Michael Corpuel with the dedication of the Michael Corpuel Pavilion at Camp Wayne. Those campers, families and staff who had the privilege of spending time with Michael during his years as Owner/Director of CWB know the significance of Michael’s contribution to Camp Wayne and the legacy that will live on in his name.

Michael was celebrated with beautiful words from Josh Corpuel, Andy “Groo” Groothuis and former bunkmate Mark Groothuis, with sentiments from Steve Nisenson, Stew Yaker and Gary Hecht shared from afar.

We hope that all of you who have known and loved Michael through the years will share your memories with him here. Thank you Michael for all you have done to make Camp Wayne for Boys the special place that it is for so many—and for generations to come.
