Hey neighbors. Randy Schrum here. My wife and I have nine children, four of them sons, and four years ago we put down roots out this way and started Father Son Camp right here in Primm Springs, out at The Ridge on Mayberry Hollow Rd.
We've had over 800 dads and sons come through, a lot of them driving across the country to get here. And every year I think the same thing: some of the folks who'd love this most live ten minutes down the road and have no idea it's happening.
So this is me finally inviting our own community.
October 8–11. Four days, dads and boys, tents pitched. Shooting, archery, tomahawks, rappelling, fishing, bonfires every night, plus real time in God's Word, a Sunday service and potluck, and the kind of unhurried hours with your son that are getting harder to come by.
Here's why I keep doing it. Our sons grow up faster than we're ready for. They don't need us perfect. They need us present, before the window closes. He won't remember your job title. He'll remember this.
Starts at $75 a person, capped at $300 a family. Campsite, food, and activities included.
Grab your son and come. Everything's at fathersonretreats.com, or just message me.
Hope to shake your hand at The Ridge.
Randy
