Ainsworth Cottages, owned and operated by the Ainsworth Family for almost 70 years, are located in the East end of Provincetown on the warm waters of Cape Cod Bay. Nestled on a quiet lane, Ainsworth Cottages provide a private beach with panoramic views of the Bay and Provincetown including the Pilgrim Monument, Long Point Lighthouse, the bustling center of town and its busy wharf with commercial a

nd private fishing vessels and the neighboring town of Truro. On a clear star-lit evening, you can even see the lights of Plymouth. Ideal for families, the bay provides safe swimming with no under tow at high tide. During low tide, you can walk the sand bars and see first hand the amazing sea life that thrives in Cape Cod Bay. Watch a snail tunnel its way through the sand; see a horseshoe crab scurry about in the shallow waters; feel the warmth of the sand between your toes. With the exception of bed linens and towels, each cottage is fully furnished, equipped
with a gas stove with oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, utensils, and pots and pans. Consisting of seven rental properties, the cottages have 2 or 3 bedrooms, kitchen, living/dining area and bathrooms with showers. Six of the cottages sleep a maximum of five people; one cottage sleeps a maximum of six people. The center of Provincetown is two miles away and is easily accessible by foot, car, bike or shuttle bus. Provincetown offers bike paths, whale and seal watching, hiking, kayaking, the National Seashore, unique shopping, art galleries, fishing, snorkeling, wind surfing, para sailing and fine and casual dining. Ainsworth Cottages are open from Memorial Day through Columbus Day and are subject to availability. We accept cash, checks, and most major credit cards.
