We got an extra day this Labor Day weekend, so we filled it with outdoor games, minute-to-win-it madness, and epic laser tag battles! From sharks and minnows to cookie face and late night laser beams, we played hard, laughed harder, and made memories that’ll last way longer than the weekend! It truly was the perfect send-off to summer!

We couldn’t have asked for a more incredible Labor Day weekend at Tohickon Family Campground! From busting out their dance moves with Bigfoot, to swirling and striping awesome tie-dye designs, calling out bingo for sweet prizes, and most importantly, hanging out with friends, old and new, our campers made lots of lasting memories this past weekend. This has been an amazing holiday weekend, but it's not over yet!

Don't forget that the Covered Bridge Cafe will be open tomorrow from 9am - 12pm for breakfast! Come and enjoy our Labor Day breakfast specials... Freedom French Toast or Pancakes and Cream Chipped Beef served over Toast, Biscuits, or Home Fries!

We kicked off this Labor Day weekend with Bigfoot’s Bedtime Bash last night and we have all kinds of fun planned for today!

Children’s arts & crafts are starting in the barn in 15 minutes. Then we have hayrides at 11am, Waterslide at 1pm, Tie Dye at 2pm (purchase your shirts in the store), Waterslide at 3pm, Candy Bingo bt the pool at 4:30pm, and Cash Bingo at 7:30pm.

Don’t forget to claim your ducks to support Care Camps Foundation before our Duck Derby tomorrow! $2 per duck or $5 for a quack pack (3 ducks). You’ll get to chuck your ducks into the pool while attempting to win a cash prize. (No need to get in the pool though).

We can’t wait to make lots of fun memories with our campers today!

Labor Day Is better with one less thing to do. You work hard, let the Covered Bridge Cafe help make your long weekend easy and delicious. Take the weekend off and give yourself a break. We’ve got you covered and are excitedly preparing our Labor Day Specials in addition to all of our regular menu items.

COVERED BRIDGE CAFE LABOR DAY WEEKEND HOURS:
FRIDAY: 5pm - 8pm
SATURDAY: 9am - 8pm
SUNDAY: 9am - 8pm
MONDAY: 9am - 12pm (breakfast only)
Breakfast served Saturday, Sunday, & Monday from 9am - 12pm.

The Covered Bridge Cafe is located at Tohickon Family Campground at 8308 Covered Bridge Road in Quakertown, PA and is open to the public... enter through the camp store.

It's Duck Derby time again and this weekend our campers will be chuckin' ducks in support of Care Camps Foundation!

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and we are excited to be part of the Pennsylvania Campgrounds for Kids campaign all month long! This duck derby will kick off our participation in the competition with campgrounds across the state to raise funds that help make camp experiences for children with cancer possible. These are safe and accessible, medically supervised experiences filled with joy, belonging, and the healing power of the outdoors, all at no cost to families.

Join us this weekend to raise funds for such an incredible cause!

DUCK DERBY DETAILS:

DATE: Sunday, 9/6
TIME: 4:30 pm
LOCATION: Pool
COST: $2 per duck or $5 for 3 ducks (claim your ducks in the store)

Stop in at the camp store anytime on Friday, Saturday, or by 3pm on Sunday to sign up and "claim" your rubber duck(s). Then show up at the pool by 4:30pm on Sunday to chuck your ducks for the chance to win a cash prize and bragging rights!

The winner of the Duck Derby will receive 50% of the money collected with the other 50% going to Care Camps Foundation!

We're kicking off Labor Day Weekend with Bigfoot's Bedtime Bash!

Put on your jammies and join Bigfoot in the Barn on Friday, 9/4 at 8:30pm.

Let the littles get their wiggles out and the biggies battle it out with Bigfoot for the best dance moves at our family fun dance party hosted by Bigfoot himself.

Labor Day Weekend is just four days away and we have a whole lot going on for our campers at Tohickon Family Campground!

We're kicking off the weekend with Bigfoot's Bedtime Bash on Friday night. Come dressed in your jammies (or comfy clothes) and battle it out with Bigfoot for the best dance moves.

Don't miss children's arts & crafts, hayrides, tie dye, candy bingo, and cash bingo on Saturday. This will also be the last weekend of the 2026 season to enjoy our waterslide and pool.

But wait, there's more: Sunday is jam packed with activities too! From outdoor games, more waterslide fun, minute-to-win-it games, a duck derby to support Care Camps Foundation, basket bingo, and laser tag, we don't know how we could cram in any more end-of-summer fun!

We can't wait to make more camping memories with our campers this weekend!
