Our fourth and final Halloween weekend at Tohickon Family Campground was just as spooktacular as the rest!

From campfire stories on Friday night to the adult Halloween hangout on Saturday night, we couldn’t have fit in more festive fun!

Thank you to everyone who came out to join in on our Halloween activities, dressed themselves up and/or decorated their sites this weekend! Creating these types of memories with our campers is truly why we love what we do!

That’s a wrap on our 2026 season, but we’re excitedly starting to plan another incredible season in 2027! We’ve made so many incredible memories with all of our campers this year and we can’t wait to do it again next year!

Thank you to everyone who has helped us raise funds this season for Care Camps Foundation! We've raised over $2,550 so far, and we still have one weekend left for anyone else who would like to contribute. You can stop by the campground store to leave a donation there.

Our camping community stepped up big time during the month of September (Childhood Cancer Awareness Month) for the PA Campgrounds for Kids campaign. Check out the update from Care Camps Foundation below to see how much of the $2,550 we raised during just the month of September! It's pretty amazing!

Care Camps Foundation Update:

Thank you for being part of the 2026 Pennsylvania Campgrounds for Kids campaign! Tohickon Family Campground raised $1316.96, helping bring joy, friendship, and outdoor adventures to kids with cancer.

Together, 11 participating campgrounds raised $14,552.56, nearly triple last year’s total! Participation almost doubled from last year’s six campgrounds.

We are so grateful to you, your team, and your guests for helping this campaign grow. Your fundraising helps make medically supervised camp possible at no cost to families. At camp, children can make friends who understand, try new adventures, and simply be kids. Families find support and a community where they belong.

The top three fundraisers will be honored and presented with awards at the PCOA Annual Convention in December. We look forward to celebrating the generosity of our campground partners!

Thank you again for your care and support. We hope Tohickon Family Campground will join us again next year!

Q: How long have you been camping?

Q: What is your favorite activity or type of activity at Tohickon Campground?
🔷 George: Bingo
🔶 Patty: taking my grandkids to all the kids' activities and seeing the smiles on their faces.

Q: Which amenity do you enjoy the most at Tohickon?
🔷 George: Pool
🔶 Patty: Pool

Q: What is your favorite camping meal or snack?
🔷 George: Cheeseburger on the grill
🔶 Patty: Bacon

Q: What camping gear/tool/item would you not leave home without?
🔷 George: Reclining Chair

Q: Is there something you’d like to see added at Tohickon Campground (activity, event, theme weekend, amenity, etc.)

🔶 Patty: not sure where they’d fit but more seating at the pool.

Q: What is your favorite camping memory either at Tohickon or any other camping experience in the past?
🔷 George: Sitting by the fire on a chilly fall night.
🔶 Patty: Christmas in July, I remember it as a kid and love it at Tohickon.

Q: What do you love most about camping in general?
🔷 George: It’s peaceful and relaxing.
🔶 Patty: meeting new people, I love getting to know new people from all over and Tohickon has the best of the best!

Our last adult activity of the season is our Halloween Hangout. Halloween costumes are welcome but not required. We'll have games set up for free play and just plan to hang out and have some festive fun!

🎃 It's the last Halloween weekend at Tohickon Family Campground and we're so excited to make more festive memories with all of our campers!

The fun starts on Friday night with Campfire Stories. Join us around the firepit behind mini golf at 8:00pm to choose your own spooky adventure. Don't forget to bring a chair.

Saturday is jam packed with exciting activities for the littles as well as the adults and every age in-between. Don't miss out on a seasonal craft, daytime hayrides, costume contests, trick-or-treating through the campground, a kid's Halloween party, festive Halloween bingo, nighttime hayrides, cash bingo, and our adult Halloween hangout! We're finishing off this season with festive fun for all ages!

We have one more chance for our campers to decorate and vote for their favorite site during our Site Decorating Contest!

👻 Are you decorating your site??? Make sure you sign up in the store by 2pm on Saturday to enter your campsite into the contest.

🗳 Make your vote count! Participating sites will be marked on the large map outside of the store. Pick up your voting ballots (2 per site) in the store before it closes at 8pm on Saturday and then place your votes in the ballot box outside of the store by 11pm on Saturday night.

We just have a few sites available for last minute campers! The weather is going to be beautiful, so grab your site, pack up your camping gear, and head to Tohickon for a memorable weekend with your family and friends!

Coming off of another incredible Halloween weekend at Tohickon Family Campground! From our final Bigfoot’s Bedtime Bash of this season on Friday night to our nighttime hayride on Saturday night, we couldn’t have fit in more festive fun!

Thank you to everyone who dressed themselves us and/or decorated their sites this weekend! We continue to be amazed at the creative campers we have here at Tohickon!

Our adult campers may not have completely solved the Murder at Whispering Woods on Saturday, but they had loads of fun trying! And they totally wowed us with how incredibly they represented their characters, all while supporting an incredible cause! We can’t wait to do this again next year!

Just one more Halloween weekend left before the 2026 season ends… who will be joining us?
