Coming out to on Saturday? The physical address may not appear on your GPS, so here are directions!

Take Exit 109 from I-81, toward Radford.
From campus, take Tyler Ave toward the Interstate.
1. Turn off Tyler Ave onto Lovely Mount Drive. (turn is beside the Comfort Inn, across from Tru by Hilton)
a. Proceed for 0.8 miles.
2. Turn LEFT onto Dry Valley Road. (cross over a bridge)
a. Proceed for 1.4 miles.
3. Turn RIGHT onto Sale-Selu Lane. Look for a small sign on a large oak tree and a large mirror. This is a gravel
road and cows may be present.
4. Continue straight until you enter Selu.

Celebrate American Hiking Society this Saturday at Selu Conservancy!!! 🥾🌳

The Conservancy will be open to the public at no cost from 8 AM to 10PM with plenty of workshops and activities to choose from! 🎨🛶🥾🍃🧘‍♀️

Connect with others in your community who share your love for the outdoors while giving back to the community you love to explore. We do ask that pets stay at home since the property is a conservancy.

🎨👩‍🎨The Selu Scenery workshop on May 16th featured lead artist Margaret Sue Turner-Wright, an oil and plein-air painter.

Interested in attending a future workshop? Join us in 3 days on June 6 for the National Trails Day edition of the Selu Scenery Plein Air Workshop at the Selu Conservancy in Radford, VA.

Local sketch and watercolor artist Matt “Sharpie” Gentry will share tips for artful travel journaling, packing light, and creating on the go.

From 10 a.m.–3 p.m., participants will explore sketching and watercolor techniques while walking the conservancy trails. Bring a lightweight sketchbook, pencils, and simple watercolor supplies for a day of creativity outdoors.
